SAM - Store and Move Donates Portable Storage Containers |
||
SALT LAKE CITY, Nov. 21, 2007 – SAM - Store and Move, an emerging leader in portable moving and storage solutions, has donated its service and containers to the Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots program in Salt Lake City as part of the “SAM Lends a Hand” initiative. Salt Lake City-based SAM – Store and Move dealer Mesa Systems has provided the containers. Beginning now until Dec. 10, the public is welcome to drop off new, unwrapped gifts to the SAM – Store and Move container located at Fort Douglas. The items collected will be hand-delivered by the U.S. Marine Corps from Dec. 10 through Dec. 17 to serve as Christmas gifts to needy children of all ages within the Salt Lake City area. “We are proud to support our community by offering our self-storage services to such a worthy organization,” said Steve Smith, general manager, Mesa Systems. “Anything we can do to support the troops who give so much for our freedom, we’ll do whatever we can in return. This is a very small way we can help.” “Thanks to the amazing support of the community, we often struggle to find enough storage to accommodate the mass amount of offerings we receive,” said Gunnery Sergeant Tim Cooper. “That’s why we are grateful to Mesa Systems for donating its SAM – Store and Move containers for the Toys for Tots program. They work perfectly to store the donations and it makes the donation drop-off process so much easier for residents.” For more information about the Toys for Tots program, please contact Gunnery Sergeant Cooper at 801-583-7318.
