Planes Moving & Storage Donates Time and Resources
to Manage Logistics for the Mercy Heart Mini-Marathon
SAM – Store and Move containers will serve several functions throughout the race

CINCINNATI, March 28, 2008 – Just as runners throughout Cincinnati are preparing for the Mercy Heart Mini-Marathon this weekend, Planes Moving & Storage employees are preparing SAM – Store and Move containers for some behind-the-scenes action. As part of the campaign “SAM Lends a Hand,” Planes Moving & Storage will donate four containers to manage marathon logistics. SAM – Store and Move, an emerging leader in portable moving and storage solutions, will place containers at Fountain Square and three water stations along the course.

“Many people don’t realize the logistics behind an event like the Mercy Heart Mini-Marathon,” said Jennifer Hauck, senior corporate accounts director. “The SAM – Store and Move containers make our jobs much easier. We really appreciate the time and resources Planes Moving & Storage has dedicated to our organization.”

The 31st annual Mercy Heart Mini-Marathon, presented by Fidelity Investments, is the premier fundraising event for the American Heart Association in Cincinnati. It’s designed to raise money and awareness for heart disease and stroke, as well as encourage physical and cardiovascular activity. The two-day event, expected to draw nearly 12,000 attendees, consists of a family fitness expo and multiple races for all age and fitness levels.
