SAM (Store and Move) Donates Containers for Live on the Levee and Fair St. Louis
Portable storage containers to be filled with technical supplies and production elements

Fair St. Louis and LIVE on the Levee attract hundreds of thousands of fairgoers each year, and because of the magnitude of the festival, much storage space is needed. That’s where St. Louis-based SAM (Store and Move) comes in. From July 3 through Aug. 4, SAM moving and storage containers will help keep the event organized by storing technical supplies for the main stage; tables, chairs, and fencing for the Sauce Café; giveaways for the Family Fun Village; and production elements including signage, plastic stanchions, supplies, and more.

“SAM storage containers are the perfect way for the festival to store the things they need, because they are safe and secure and can be conveniently located wherever the staff needs them,” said Tom McCormick, president of SAM (Store and Move).

Over the years, Fair Saint Louis has grown as a St. Louis event, attracting hundreds of thousands of fairgoers to the St. Louis Riverfront. With the merger of Fair Saint Louis with Celebrate St. Louis (the organization that produces LIVE on the Levee), the city will not only be known for its "Great American Celebration," but also for its spectacular free entertainment and fireworks. The greatest contribution to the community continues to be the excitement Fair Saint Louis and LIVE on the Levee bring to St. Louis beginning every Independence Day and continuing six weeks through July and August.

The SAM (Store and Move) service is provided through the SAM Support Center located in St. Louis and is delivered by a nationwide network of dealers. SAM opened in its first market in January 2006 and will continue to  aggressively enter new service areas throughout the United States.

SAM is a convenient and portable storage and moving solution that is delivered to the customer’s residence and placed at ground level for easy packing and unpacking. For customers who are using the SAM as a short- or long-term storage unit, it can be stored onsite at their residence or at the dealer’s secure facility. For customers planning to move, SAM allows the customer as much time as they need to pack; then a SAM representative picks up and moves the container to the new location, again allowing customers the freedom to unpack at their leisure.
