SAM (Store and Move) Helps Turn Habitat for Humanity House
into a Home for St. Louis Family

Local SAM dealer donated the services for the family's move

ST. LOUIS, Dec. 27, 2006 – On Friday, Dec. 22, a SAM storage container arrived at a recently built Habitat for Humanity house on N. Garrison Ave. in St. Louis to move the McPherson family into their new home. A St. Louis SAM dealer donated its services and manpower to move Wendy Lamont McPherson and her two children into their new residence. The home was dedicated in a special ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 16.

“We are so proud to be involved with an organization as tremendous as Habitat for Humanity that really helps families rebuild their lives,” said Tom Linhares, general manager at Dodge Moving & Storage and local SAM dealer. “It’s extremely rewarding to witness the expressions on the faces of family members as you unload the container, carry their belongings into the new house and truly make it their home.”

SAM (Store and Move) launched service in the greater St. Louis metropolitan area in October 2006. The company is headquartered in Fenton, Mo.

About SAM
The SAM (Store and Move) service is provided through the SAM Support Center located in St. Louis, Mo. and is delivered by a nationwide network of dealers. SAM opened in its first market in January 2006 and will continue to aggressively enter new service areas throughout the United States.

SAM is a convenient and portable storage and moving solution that is delivered to the customer’s residence and placed at ground level for easy packing and unpacking. For customers who are using the SAM as a short- or long-term storage unit, it can be stored onsite at their residence or at the dealer’s secure facility. For customers planning to move, SAM allows the customer as much time as they need to pack; then a SAM representative picks up and moves the container to the new location, again allowing customers the freedom to unpack at their leisure.
