Local SAM – Store and Move Dealer Donates Storage Containers, Packing Supplies to Flood Victims

ST. LOUIS, Mar. 21, 2008 – A number of Valley Park, Mo., business owners affected by this week’s flooding can breathe a little easier knowing their supplies and equipment are safe thanks in part to local SAM – Store and Move dealer, A-Mrazek Moving Systems. As part of its “SAM Lends a Hand” initiative, A-Mrazek donated its service, containers, packing supplies and soft drinks to several area flood victims.

Those impacted by A-Mrazek’s flood relief efforts include:

• Circle of Concern – two SAM – Store and Move containers, packing supplies and several cases of water and soda were donated to help the organization protect its vast collection of food and personal care items. Circle of Concern provides long-term and emergency assistance to low-income families in western St. Louis County.
• Andy’s Animal House – By donating packing supplies, the company was able to safely box up a large variety of pet supplies aiding the health and nutrition of fish and reptiles, puppies and kittens.
• Meramec Valley Bank – A-Mrazek offered its moving services at a discounted rate to transport and store office furniture until the flood water dissipates.
• Manley Brothers Incorporated and Bi-State Roofing – Construction companies serving the St. Louis area, A-Mrazek donated a total of three SAM – Store and Move containers to ensure the safety of the companies’ equipment and supplies.

“When we heard about the sudden flooding in the Valley Park area, we felt compelled to help our neighbors as much as we possibly could,” said David Sabada, president of A-Mrazek Moving Systems. “These businesses are an asset to this community.
